The photographs on this page were taken in April 2021 on a walk from the Ochikura Kogen area of Hakuba to the site of Makiyose Ski Area. The walk to the ski lift takes about 10-15 minutes. A pile of indivdual chairs from the ski lift and a small abandoned building can be found nearby. The walk up the old ski slope to the top of the ski lift takes about 20-30 minutes. A path continues beyond the top of the ski lift ending up back at Ochikura Kogen. The main information page for Makiyose Ski Area can be found here.
