Tsuruga Kokusai was a ski area located by the side of Route 161, about 15km to the south of the central area of Tsuruga City in Fukui Prefecture. The still-operating Kunizakai Kogen Snow Park is located on the other side of the road. Tsuruga Kokusai closed in 2003 but abandoned facilities remain to this day.
