Geihoku Ginrei - also known as simply Ginrei - was a ski area located in Kitahiroshima Town in Hiroshima Prefecture. The region struggled with snowfall and this ski area did at one time install snow making machines. In later years it was only open at the weekend. Ginrei closed sometime in the early 2000s.

  • This ski area was known as either Geihoku Ginrei or just simply Ginrei  銀嶺スキー場
    　
  • It was a compact ski area with fairly short northern-facing courses and located by the side of national Route 186
    　
  • There were three ski lifts, with the first one opening in 1976
    　
  • It seems like a further pair lift and single lift were added at later dates (though some online sources say that the third lift was also a pair)
    　
  • Artificial snowmaking machines were installed, but they were not always used
    　
  • Towards the end of its existence, Ginrei only seemed to open on weekends
    　
  • The ski lifts and main base building have been removed, but night skiing floodlights remain
    　
  • This location used to be part of Geihoku Town 芸北町
    　
  • In February 2005, Geihoku Town merged with three other towns and became part of Kitahiroshima Town 北広島町
