Takaobara
Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture
高尾原スキー場 広島県庄原市
Takaobara was a small ski area behind Dogoyama Station in Shobara City, in the northeastern region of Hiroshima Prefecture. At one time, there seemed to have been three surface lifts at this ski area, though, in later years, only one rope tow was operating. The ski area closed in 2011. The new Kofu-Miyoshi Road is currently being constructed across what used to be the base of the ski area.
