  • In a Hokkaido ski guidebook from 1986, the ski area was shown to have three single lifts

  • There was a 3km long 'tour course'

  • The pair lift has been removed, but the top single lift appears to remain in place

  • There seems to have been a ski jump (Kamisunagawa Shanze 上砂川シャンツェ) either at the ski area or close by, but no confirmed details about that can be found

  • The ski area has never officially been completely abandoned, with the official status still 'dormant' 休止中 in 2022

  • Some special snow-related events have recently taken place on the lower slopes in recent years
