Onishika was a small ski area in the northern Onishika neighbourhood of Obira Town of Hokkaido. Little confirmed information about Onishika can be found, but it was last open in the 2021-2022 winter season. In late December 2022, it was announced that the ski area would be closing due to ageing facilities.

Further Information

  • Onishika Ski Area was a ski area in Obira Town, about 2km from the coastline
     
  • It is one of the rare ski areas that is not mentioned in any available guidebooks, including old official Hokkaido Ski Lift Association publications

  • A lift ticket in later seasons cost 500 yen for adults and 300 yen for children
