Nashiki Kogen
Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture
名色高原スキー場 兵庫県豊岡市
Nashiki Kogen was a ski area located in the Kannabe Kogen highland region of what was then Hidaka Town in the northern region of Hyogo Prefecture. In 2005 Hidaka town became part of the new Toyooka City. Nashiki Kogen was well-known due to a 40 degree slope and being the venue for high school alpine games events. The area struggled for snow at times and suffered damaged due to a typhoon in 2004 before eventually closing in 2010. Often known as just Nashiki or Kannabe Kogen Nashiki.
