Genze
Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto
ゲンゼスキー場 京都府福知山市
Genze was a ski area located in the Yakunocho area of what is now Fukuchiyama City, in the northern region of Kyoto Prefecture or Kyoto-fu. It was a ‘family ski area’ with one ski lift and was open between 1951 and 2001. The ski lift has been removed and cherry blossom trees now grow on the lower slopes.
