Naruko was a ski area located in the Naruko Onsen region of Osaki city in Miyagi Prefecture. This ski area opened in 1962 as Hanabuchiyama and over the years had a number of name changes before settling on Naruko. The 6 person gondola used to operate during the summer season for sightseeing. Naruko last opened in 2002 but the facilities still largely remain in place.
