Hakuba Minekata was a ski area located to the south-east of the central area of Hakuba Village in Nagano Prefecture. Hakuba Minekata was smaller than the more famous ski resorts on the other side of the valley. It featured a 5km cross country course in the top area. Hakuba Minekata closed in 2014 after about 50 years of operation and the lifts have since been removed.
