Ski areas from Japan’s past 過去の日本のスキー場を懐かしむ
Ohira
Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture
大平スキー場 長野県中野市
Ohira was a ski area located in what was then Toyota Village in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture. Toyota became part of Nakano City in 2005. This ski area closed in 1975 and the hill is now very overgrown. A concrete foundation of the one single ski lift still remains at the base. Otherwise there is little evidence of a ski area being at this location.
