Yanaba Parallel was a small ski area located less than 1km from Yanaba Station in Omachi City, in the north western region of Nagano Prefecture. It was originally called just Yanaba. The Parallel name comes from the name of the ski school that used this area for lessons and training. Yanaba Parallel closed around the mid 1990s.
