Shitada Yagi was a small ski area located in the central region of Sanjo City in Niigata Prefecture. The ski area opened in 1967 and closed sometime in the early 2000s. During the period when Shitada Yagi was open this neighbourhood was known as Shitada Village. In 2005 Shitada Village became part of Sanjo City.
