Ludens Yuzawa is a ski area located to the south-east of the central area of Yuzawa Town in Niigata Prefecture. It was originally known as Ludens Showa. The east facing slopes overlook Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort. Ludens Yuzawa was last open during the 2017-2018 season. The most recent announcement was that it would be ‘closed for the 2018-2019 season to undergo maintenance' but it officially remains ‘temporarily closed’. Currently two lifts remain in place but only one was operating in that last season.
