内山スキー場　長野県白馬村

Uchiyama was a small ski area located in the Uchiyama neighbourhood of Hakuba Village in Nagano Prefecture. It apparently opened in 1963 but only lasted a few years as much larger ski areas developed nearby. The Snow Harp cross-country skiing venue built for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics is in the same neighbourhood.

  • Uchiyama is the name of a neighbourhood in the southern part of Hakuba Village

  • Apparently it opened in 1963 with one 50m rope tow lift, along with a few accommodations in the same neighbourhood
    　
  • With the development of larger areas nearby, Uchiyama Ski Area closed after only two years of operation
    　
  • It is now hard to imagine there ever being a ski area on the gentle slopes in this location
